AUSTIN, Texas - The Gallaudet University women's volleyball program held a successful volleyball clinic at the Texas School for the Deaf (TSD) here from June 3-7. The clinic had 43 participants and 13 staffers.
The clinic focused on four different skills including serving, passing, setting and hitting. The staff saw big improvements from the first day to the last day, according to clinic coordinator CJ Upchurch.
"This was a wonderful experience for me as coordinator of this clinic. My staff had a wonderful time with the campers as well," said Upchurch. "Last but not least, special thanks to TSD and TSD Athletics for allowing us the use of their facilities and equipment."
