WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet University baseball team scored six times in the bottom of the seventh inning to pull within one run, 7-6, of Frostburg State University here Wednesday at Hoy Field. The Bobcats responded with four runs in the eighth en route to a 12-7 non-conference win.
Gallaudet (5-8) began its six-run inning with a RBI single by junior Matt Scuderi (Jensen Beach, Fla.) that plated sophomore Darren Drolsbaugh (Lansdale, Pa.). Junior Gilwon Seo (Hongseong, South Korea) and junior Austin Altman (Irvine, Calif.) followed with RBI singles before a wild pitch allowed Scuderi to score. Freshman Mitchell Dolinar (Las Vegas, Nev.) came through with a two-run single to bring home Seo and Altman.
Scuderi added another RBI on a single in the eighth.
Frostburg (10-0) scord a run in the first and sixth innings and three runs in the fifth and seventh innings before a four-run eighth. First baseman Ryan Roell (3-for-4, five RBI) had a three-run home run in the seventh inning
Nathan Klasmeyer (1-0) earned the win for the Bobcats with two scoreless innings where he allowed three hits and struck out three. FSU used seven different pitchers in the game.
Junior Robersy Delgado (Tampa, Fla.) took the loss as he allowed run on two hits in two innings.

Gallaudet will next hit the road to Florida for Spring Break and will play six games from March 17-22.
